You’re overwhelmed with an urgent task, when suddenly you feel like a tight belt around your head. Headache, the most common form of pain, is the main reason behind missed work or school days.1

Headache could occur independent of any other medical condition or cause, this is called Primary headaches. 1 And, it might occur Secondary to underlying health condition such as stress, muscular tension which can be due to poor posture, dental or jaw problems, infections, eye problems, hormonal influences or high blood pressure. 1, 2

  • Headache keeps coming back or gets worse in 24 hours and painkillers do not help

·         Headache is accompanied by slurred speech, a change in vision, problems moving your arms or legs or numbness, loss of balance, confusion, or memory loss

·         Headache aroused with a head injury

·         Headaches just stated above 50 years of age

  • Headaches occurred with feeling of being sick, vomiting

Most headaches are not a sign of something more serious and will most probably go away on their own.3
