Pregnant women are always overwhelmed with instructions from their family and friends or from their doctors. A list of dos & don’ts of what should and shouldn’t be done always pops up when someone in the family is pregnangt.1

Remember you’re eating for two! While eating healthy food is important for you and your baby during pregnancy, that doesn't mean eating twice as much, it means that you need balanced meals combined with regular physical fitness for good health during your pregnancy. Making sure your diet contains enough protein, iron, calcium, and folic acid is essential.1

Certain lifestyle changes such as taking a multivitamin and getting sufficient sleep can certainly help your baby’s development and keep you healthy as well. You also need to avoid some types of fish like Swordfish, Tilefish, and King mackerel & Shark as they are high in mercury.1, 2

Always seek your doctor advice before using any supplements or over-the-counter (OTC) medications or using any herbal supplements, some of them might be harmful during pregnancy.1,2
