9 WARNING SIGNS NEVER TO BE MISSED

Being watchful for some warning signs of a heart disease, is really important. Never miss symptoms that come as a group at a time or that seem to be triggered by exertion and goes away by rest.1

Catch the signs if you can

1.     Tightness and heaviness in the chest is common sign of heart attack 1

2.     Pain in the shoulders, arms, back or jaw, with no reason 1

3.     New unexplained fatigue 1

4.     Unexplained shortness of breath that occurs with minimal activity 1

5.     Leg, ankle, or foot swelling 1

6.     Irregular or rapid heartbeat 1

7.     Nausea, indigestion or heartburn 2

8.     Feeling hot and sweaty together with chest pains 2

9.     Lightheadedness or sudden unsteadiness 2

Most common heart attack symptom, in both women and men, is chest discomfort. However, women are more likely to experience other symptoms, primarily shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting, and back or jaw pain. 3

Watch out for the symptoms as some may wait too long before acting to call for help. 2
