WHY SHOULD I DRINK WATER?!

Maintaining adequate water content in our body is highly vital. Water is the medium where blood moves through the blood vessels to the muscles.1

Is there a specific amount of water for each person? OR do we all need the same amount?

Actually, every one of us would require different amount of daily fluid depending on the weather, how many pieces of cloth he/she’s wearing and the amount of physical activity he/she’s performing. Furthermore, having certain chronic conditions might affect your need of daily fluids. Typically, if you have diabetes or heart disease, you might require more daily water.1

The amount of water we need is also highly dependable on our body weight. It is recommended to drink about 15 ml for each half kilo you weigh, every day. So if your weight is 70 kilos, you should drink about 2 liters of water per day.2

To maintain healthy water content drink before, during and after your exercise.1

Try to drink a glass of water with and between meals and drink water if you're feeling hungry.3
