WHY SHOULD I GET VACCINATED?!

It is very well-known that “prevention is better than cure.” It is definitely better and less costly to avoid having the disease in the first place.1

Vaccination aims at giving a person a weakened form of the disease that won’t be able to cause the disease. The body will in turn react to this foreign body by releasing antibodies. Now, your immune system is well-prepared if it gets exposed again to the actual disease.1

It’s a public need that we all get immunized, not only to protect ourselves from serious diseases but also to prevent spreading the disease to others.1

It is essential then children (0-6 years of age) get their full vaccination scheduel.1

Make sure to follow the recommended immunizations schedule which might include all or some of the following: Diphtheria/Tetanus, Pertussis, Measles/Mumps/ Rubella, hepatitis B, Varicella (chickenpox), and Rotavirus, Pneumococcal, Haemophilus influenzae type B, Hepatitis A and the seasonal influenza vaccine.1

Consult your doctor for the vaccines suitable for you and your children and keep record of all the vaccines you receive.2
