BLOOD PRESSURE LEVELS, HIGH OR LOW?

alt
alt

Most of us have already been acquainted with the high blood pressure as a chronic condition. And, even if not working in the medical field, we are highly aware of the normal blood pressure values in adults (120/80 mmHg).1

But, despite not as prominent and outstanding as high blood pressure, low blood pressure is another condition, which sometimes needs medical interference. Hypotension is when your blood pressure is lower than 90/60 mmHg.1

Though not really serious in some, for many people irregularly low blood pressure is accompanied by symptoms such as nausea, blurred vision, dizziness, fainting, and in some cases it could be life-threatening.2

Being pregnant, having some heart problems, being diagnosed with an endocrine disorder or dehydration might be the reason behind having low blood pressure.2

If you doubt that you’re suffering from low blood pressure symptoms, check with your doctor as the condition could be managed and you could lead a normal life.1
